What’s the earliest a bankruptcy can be removed from my credit report?

A discharged chapter 13 bankruptcy is removed from your credit report 7 years from the filing date.

Chapter 7 and chapter 11 bankruptcies will stay on your credit report for 10 years from the date filed.

Even though your bankruptcy stays on your credit report for 7-10 years, it may affect your credit score less over time.
