What's the difference between personal and business credit cards?

Last Updated: May 24, 2013 08:43PM UTC

In terms of use, personal credit cards and business credit cards often have similar features. Business credit cards may contain features geared towards business owners, like cash back at office supply stores.

Personal credit cards and business credit cards may differ in the consumer protections offered. Business credit cards are not subject to the Credit CARD Act of 2009, and card issuers can more easily change terms like interest rates and fees without shorter notice compared to personal cards.
